ESOL Services

 

What is ESOL?

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) is the provision of English language courses to learners whose first language is not English.  All ESOL courses provided by Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) ESOL Services aim to develop the learners core language skills in the areas of:

  • Listening 
  • Speaking 
  • Reading 
  • Writing 
  • Grammatical accuracy
